This patient came to Dr. Francesco Campanile for her tummy tuck procedure. Initially, she was unhappy with the excess skin and fat in her abdominal region and so she looked to Dr. Campanile's expertise in body contouring in order to tighten and sculpt her abdominal region.
As you can see, this patient had excess fat and skin of the abdomen. During a tummy tuck procedure, Dr. Campanile excises the fat and skin below the belly button and also tightens the abdominal wall in order to give the patient a more sculpted midsection. Because, much of the tissues in this region are excised, it additionally pulls the oblique muscles taught, giving the patient an elegant hourglass figure. The result is a tightened and sculpted abdominal region.
This patient is shown here approximately 2 months after her tummy tuck with board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Francesco Campanile. She is very happy with her results and feels confident in how her abdomen appears.
