Important events are the perfect incentive to finally invest in a trip to your friendly local Denver cosmetic surgeon. If you don’t double-check the timing of your procedure, though, you could find yourself still in recovery and in no shape for the big night. If you have a corporate holiday party coming up on December 21, what should your procedure dates be?
October
Any plastic surgery in Denver should start far before the actual holiday season. Typically, the most popular procedures for this type of occasion are laser resurfacing, BOTOX, dermal fillers, and/or liposuction. If you’re new to any of these procedures, you don’t want to try them out for the first time on December 20th, on the eve of the party. Instead, arrange your consultation well in advance so there’s ample time to meet your surgeon, discuss options, and schedule your appointment with room for a follow-up appointment, if necessary.
November
Liposuction, laser resurfacing and injectables all benefit from a couple of weeks down time, either for recovery or before optimum results are seen.* You can begin the month with lipo, move on to laser resurfacing mid-November, then finish the end of the month off with a dose of dermal filler to plump up your lips and cheeks before the main event.
December
This is the time for any final tune-ups, like a quick BOTOX injection to keep wrinkles at bay for the evening. Again, unless you already know how you’ll react to the injections, do not try BOTOX for the first time just before the corporate hoe-down. There’s a time to experiment, but it should not take place at the same time that you want to look like a million bucks.
By carefully scheduling your procedures for optimum effect, you’ll definitely be the belle of the ball.*
