Swelling Can Camouflage Early Results
It is completely normal to experience some swelling in the first several weeks after liposuction, so don’t be alarmed if you feel like you look a little bigger than before. Thankfully, swelling is just temporary, and you should begin to see gradual improvements over the coming weeks.
You Can’t Go by the Number on the Scale

Remember that liposuction is not an effective weight loss tool, so you won’t necessarily see a huge drop in the number on the scale. Instead, you should start to notice that your clothes fit better and your body shape is closer to your goal.
