One of the most rewarding aspects of being a plastic surgeon is seeing the differences in my patients’ lives following their procedures. While the physical changes are the most obvious, I’m actually talking about the changes that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
Emotional Wellbeing
Although you can experience psychological changes after any cosmetic procedure, let’s use breast enhancement as an example. If you’ve been bogged down by back pain from breasts that are too large, or struggled with embarrassment over breasts that are too small, imagine the difference you could feel following a breast enhancement.*
Liposuction provides another great example. Denver men and women who have been eating right and exercising, staying active on the slopes or hiking the miles of mountain trails in the Rockies, can still feel really frustrated by those love handles or upper thighs that just won’t slim down. Liposuction can sculpt those areas away, finally getting rid of that frustration over your body shape.*
Feelings of emotional wellbeing can have a positive impact on many other aspects of your life. Professionally, you may find you now have the self-confidence to go after that big promotion, or perhaps your new enjoyment in life is enough to impress a major client.
Feeling better about yourself can lead to other life changes too, like having more positive personal relationships, or carrying less stress in general. Seeing my patients radiant rather than uncertain over their appearance is so uplifting, and is one of my primary goals for every procedure.
