Rising Demand for BOTOX® Encourages Some to Turn to a Life of Crime
In a story that shows the truth is stranger than fiction, Miami’s NBC6 reports a thief wearing a Santa Claus hat stole $20,000 worth of BOTOX® from a popular South Florida plastic surgery center. Surveillance footage captured the 2:30 a.m. break-in and shows the man ransacking medical supplies, chemicals and BOTOX® from a medical spa in the early morning hours of January 26th, 2016. There is a large black market for BOTOX® in Miami, where it’s likely some of the loot is headed. Police are investigating the burglary.
