After a significant amount of weight loss, individuals often still feel self-conscious about their body. Although they may have lost a substantial amount of fat, the skin of the body does not regain it's elasticity, and becomes lax. As a result, many individuals look to surgical intervention to eliminate this excess skin. 

This patient came to expert board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Campanile for an arm lift consultation. After discussing all of her possible options, she decided to move forward with the procedure. During her arm lift procedure, excess skin and fat was excised in an elliptical fasion, and the remaining skin was sutured back together. Dr. Campanile understands that patients are concerned with the scars from arm lift procedures, and so he chooses to place his final scar on the backside of the arm. This location is much less noticable as compared to the scar location from traditional arm lift techniques, which results in a scar along the underside of the arm, and he has found that patient satisfaction is much higher when the final scar runs along the backside of the arm. Additionally, Dr. Campanile does all of his own stitching, and so patients can be guaranteed of an expert plastics closure, which produces minimal scarring. 

As you can see, this patient's arms are much more tight and toned as a result of her arm lift. This patient was exceptionally pleased with the results of her arm lift procedure performed by Dr. Campanile. She feels more confident in how her arms look, and no longer feels self-conscious when wearing clothing that exposes her arms.
