This patient came to Dr. Francesco Campanile because she was unhappy with her breast appearance. Breasts often droop and can become uncomfortable when women with larger breasts begin to age. As a result, they often feel self-conscious about their appearance.
After reviewing her case, Dr. Campanile recommended a breast lift. The best candidates for breast lifts can usually be determined by the 'pencil test'. If you place a pencil in the fold underneath the breast, the nipple should be near the height where the pencil exits the fold. When the nipple is significantly lower than this point, the patient is an excellent candidate for a breast lift.
As you can see here, Dr. Campanile raised the location of the nipple, giving the breast a more youthful appearance. For breast lifts, Dr. Campanile uses the 'lollipop' technique, which leaves minimal scarring around the areola and underneath the breast.
This patient is shown here approximately 3 months after surgery. She is happy with her results and feels more confident about how her breasts look.
