This patient was unhappy with her large breasts. So, she sought the advice of expert board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Francesco Campanile, to determine the best course of action to decrease her breast size. During her private consultation, they devised a treatment plan specific to her, which included breast reduction surgery. After discussing all of the technical details of the surgery and what it entails, the recovery after the procedure, and answering all of her remaining questions, this patient decided to move forward with breast reduction surgery. 

During this patient's surgery, breast tissue was excised and the nipple areola complex elevated to a more youthful position above the inframammary fold. During this procedure, along with the skin and tissue excision, the areola size was revised and reduced to a more ideal diameter. As you can see, the areola post-operatively is more proportionate to the patient's breast size, giving her a more ideal cosmetic result. 

This patient was thrilled with the results of her breast reduction surgery with Dr. Campanile. She loves the new size and shape of her breasts and feels confident in how they appear.
