This woman came to board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Francesco Campanile because she had heard about his unique CLASS Tummy Tuck technique, and wanted to learn more about it. After looking at his photo gallery online, she set up a consultation to discuss the procedure further and to learn more about it. 

This woman initially was unhappy with her abdominal region, specifically the laxity of her abdominal muscles, and excess skin and fat due to previous pregnancies. After pregnancy, not only is the skin stretched and becomes loose, but the abdominal muscles are also displaced. No amount of dieting or excercising can change this. As a result, after consulting with Dr. Francesco Campanile, she decided to move forward with his unique CLASS Tummy Tuck.

During this procedure, Dr. Campanile performs aggressive liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. This helps to sculpt this region, producing a tight and elegantly contoured final result. Additionally, the fascial of the abdominal muscles are plicated to position them in a more medical location, which not only produces a flat and tight abdomen, but also pulls the oblique muscles taught to aid in producing an even more sculpted contour. Skin and fat between the belly button and pubic hair line are also excised, and the final scar lies within the bikini line. Dr. Campanile understands the importance of hiding this final scar, and so he always instructs patients to bring their favorite bathing suit bottoms or underwear to surgery. This way, he is sure to conceal the scarring within the bikini line. 

This patient is shown approximately 2 months after surgery. She is thrilled with her result, and feels confident in the appearance of her newly sculpted abdominal region.
