This patient underwent a C.L.A.S.S. Tummy Tuck™ with board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Francesco Campanile. The patient presented with excess skin and fat in the abdominal region from previous pregnancies, along with lax abdominal muscles that had not responded to diet and exercise. Dr. Campanile’s C.L.A.S.S. Tummy Tuck technique combines the most effective elements from Italian, Brazilian, and American tummy tucks with his own unique methods.

During the procedure, Dr. Campanile performed liposuction to contour the abdomen and flanks. The skin between the belly button and pubic hair line was removed, eliminating excess skin, fat, and stretch marks in that area. The abdominal muscles were plicated together toward the midline, and the oblique muscles were also pulled toward the midline to create an elegant waist contour. Due to Dr. Campanile’s unique techniques, drains were not required for this case. The patient is shown approximately 2 months post-operatively.
