Abdomen and Back Liposuction Before and After | Denver, Colorado

This patient consulted with Dr. Francesco Campanile, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Denver, because she was unhappy with excess fat deposits in her abdomen and back. Even with consistent diet and exercise, some areas of fat can be resistant to change due to genetic factors that influence how and where the body stores fat, often creating persistent “problem areas.”

After a detailed evaluation, Dr. Campanile determined that she was an excellent candidate for liposuction. Because she had good skin quality and no significant laxity, a traditional tumescent liposuction technique was selected to achieve optimal contouring results.

During the procedure, a specialized tumescent solution was first infused into the treatment areas. This solution helps loosen fat cells, minimize bleeding, and improve overall comfort and safety. Next, excess fat was carefully removed using small cannulas, allowing Dr. Campanile to precisely sculpt the abdomen and back for a smoother, more refined contour.

The patient is shown here just one week after surgery. Even at this early stage of healing, her abdomen and back demonstrate noticeably improved definition and a more streamlined silhouette, with reduced fullness above the abdominal wall and along the back.
