This 37-year-old patient, weighing 174 lbs, consulted with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Francesco Campanile because she was unhappy with excess fat on her back and flanks. Despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, some fat deposits can be resistant to diet and exercise, which may affect overall body contour and self-confidence.
