This patient in her late thirties consulted Board-Certified Denver Plastic Surgeon Dr. Francesco Campanile due to concerns about developing lines around the mouth, commonly referred to as nasolabial folds or “parentheses lines.” She reported increasing facial wrinkles that were becoming more noticeable and was interested in non-surgical options to soften their appearance.

After a detailed facial assessment, Dr. Campanile recommended dermal filler treatment with Juvederm® to address the moderate depth of the nasolabial folds. The treatment plan included two syringes of Juvederm® to restore subtle volume and smooth the transition between the nose and mouth area while maintaining natural facial expression.

The patient elected to proceed with treatment the same day. Dr. Campanile carefully administered Juvederm® into the nasolabial folds to improve facial balance and reduce the appearance of etched lines.

The after photos shown here were taken approximately one month following treatment. Her results demonstrate a visible softening of the nasolabial folds and an overall smoother facial contour.

The patient was pleased with her outcome and expressed satisfaction with the refreshed appearance. She plans to return in 6–9 months for maintenance treatment.
