This patient consulted Board-Certified Denver Plastic Surgeon Dr. Francesco Campanile due to concerns about lines and wrinkles around the mouth. After a detailed facial assessment, Dr. Campanile discussed non-surgical treatment options using dermal fillers to improve volume loss and soften facial creases.

Treatment options included Juvederm® injections to address multiple areas of facial aging, including the nasolabial folds (lines between the nose and mouth), perioral “lipstick lines,” marionette lines, and surrounding oral compression areas. After reviewing the plan, the patient elected to proceed with treatment using two syringes of Juvederm®.

The filler was carefully placed to restore subtle volume and smooth the appearance of facial lines while maintaining natural facial movement and expression. The goal was to soften visible creases without creating an overfilled or artificial appearance.

The patient returned three months later for a follow-up Botox® treatment to the forehead. At that visit, clinical photos were taken showing improvement in the treated areas following her previous Juvederm® injections.

She reported being very pleased with the outcome and noted a noticeable softening in the appearance of lines around her mouth while maintaining natural facial expression.
