During surgery, the fat cells are liquified and removed with the surgical wand. Then, the incisions are closed with small sutures and after a brief recovery period you will be sent home. Most of our patients take a few days off and resume their full activities about a week after the procedure.
When Will You See Results?
Liposuction removes fat cells immediately during surgery. Some swelling and bruising is common for a few days after surgery, and then patients can start to see their final results. Once the fat cells are destroyed, they cannot store or accumulate fat again, ensuring a permanent enhancement in your facial contours.
