This patient underwent a C.L.A.S.S. Tummy Tuck™ performed by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Francesco Campanile. The patient presented with excess skin and lax abdominal muscles. After pregnancy, the rectus muscles of the abdomen become distended and regardless of how much an individual may exercise or diet, these muscles will not return to pre-pregnancy form. Additionally, once the skin has been stretched, there is no way to regain the pre-pregnancy elasticity without surgical intervention.

During the C.L.A.S.S. Tummy Tuck™, the skin below the belly button and above the pubic hair line was excised and the rectus muscles were pulled back into pre-pregnancy positioning. The scar was placed within the bikini line for easier concealment. The loose skin present before surgery has been completely eliminated, and the result is a tight and sculpted abdomen. This patient is shown here approximately 2 months after her procedure.
